Our History & Legacy
Our history began in 2012 with the founding of CVL Constructions by the group's Founder & CEO, Cleves Lopes. Over the years, CVL established a solid reputation within the competitive UK market, building successful partnerships with industry giants such as ISG, McLaren and Galliford Try.
The EGDC Group emerged from a strategic merger, inheriting and elevating CVL Constructions' DNA of physical execution, governance and operational rigour. Under the leadership of Founder & CEO Cleves Lopes and his business partner Ederson Siqueira, the company expanded its operations onto a global scale, embedding cutting-edge technology, modern management methodologies and strict ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles across every stage of the business.
